Emergency Management
The job of the Emergency Manager is defined by law. It does however, have a moral basis. The Emergency Manager must balance the duties authorized and required by law with the moral obligation of the public employee to do everything possible to protect and preserve the safety of citizens in the cities and rural area’s of the County.
Emergency Management expresses a strong commitment to provide inter-agency cooperation and coordination of activities relating to mitigation of, prevention of, preparedness for, response to, and recovery from disasters and emergencies.
